With a range of over 25 additional new features, Easy-PC Version 12 is billed as the "must have" PCB and schematic design system.
Latest developments include a library download overhaul.
Libraries are now held in a flat surface with a simple top-down lookup method.
The logical storage and easy management allows libraries to be stored in multiple folders enabling simultaneous access, search and usage across a network of folders.
Version 12 also has the ability to map one schematic symbol pin to multiple PCV footprint pins in the component library.
And, with the introduction of slotted pads, Version 12 allows the slot shape to be selected from a list of available shapes and easily added to the pad definition.
In addition, Easy-PC now comes with its own PDF driver to create active PDF files directly from within the plotting dialogue.
The Easy-PC product range is supplied and supported in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria and the Nordic countries by Adept Scientific.
