A3200 MotionPAC
Aerotech’s A3200 MotionPAC brings together machine control and advanced multi-axis motion control in a single development environment, which can include IEC61131-3, PLCopen, .NET, Aerobasic, G-code and many other programming languages.
Featuring straightforward diagnostics, debugging and I/O mapping tools, automatic memory management and offline program simulation, MotionPAC also allows common tags and variables across languages with its Global Tag Database.
According to Aerotech, these features combine to deliver simplified commissioning and reduced machine development timescales, by as much as 30 to 50 per cent.
MotionPAC is part of Aerotech’s Motion Composer development environment for the PC-based A3200 multi-axis motion controller.
Key information
- Uses high-speed Firewire (IEEE-1394) network to provide 1–32 axes of decentralised motion control
- Close integration with the A3200 allows machine I/O events to be completely synchronised with advanced motion
- PLC and .NET programmers can collaborate in the same environment, using the programming language of their choice
- Programmers may create their own libraries from FBD, LD and ST
- Automatic memory management available
