STM32F4 discovery kit
RS Components is now offering a discovery kit that is said to enable engineers to start designing into applications using the STM32F4 series of ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.
The STM32F4 discovery kit from STMicroelectronics — which is now in stock for same-day despatch — includes an ST-Link/V2 embedded tool for rapid debugging and programming, a MEMS motion sensor, a MEMS digital microphone plus audio DAC with an integrated class D speaker driver, indicator LEDs, pushbuttons and a USB OTG micro-AB connector.
RS is now also stocking devices from the recently launched STM32F4 range of microcontrollers, including the STM32F405RGT6, STM32F407IGH6 and STM32F407IGT6.
These are intended to enable developers to leverage the advanced signal-processing capabilities and increased speed of the ARM Cortex-M4 processor with a floating-point unit.
