Programmers support FTDI Vinculum embedded IC

device programmers
BPM Microsystems has announced equipment support for Future Technology Devices International's (FTDI) Vinculum VNC1L embedded USB host controller IC.
Aimed at engineers designing Vinculum VNC1L applications, BPM Microsystems device programmers are also suitable for programming service providers, contract manufacturers and component distributors with an option of equipment, from basic manual programming systems to fully automatic bulk pre-programming.
Providing out-of-circuit programming for the Vinculum VNC1L, the programmers also allow the verification of firmware prior to device insertion and soldering.
This leads to production cost savings by eliminating the need for a separate production station for device programming after PCB assembly.
The programmers allow the automation of bulk programming of VNC1L devices, saving time and minimising the risk of human error.
