NXC2620 embedded DVK4.0
IC Nexus has launched the NXC2620 embedded DVK4.0, a development kit with a 4.3in TFT colour LCD module at 480 x 272 resolutions and four-wire resistive touch screen.
The Emb\\_DVK40 is a compact-sized computer board with hardware including a NXC2620 CPU card, a baseboard, a USB1.1 hub card and a TFT colour LCD display.
IC Nexus said 5.7in (640 x 480) and 7in (800 x 480) optional LCD sizes are also available.
Each Emb\\_DVK40 is pre-installed with either Windows CE 6.0 or Linux 2.6 OS for instant evaluation.
The full sets of Windows CE 6.0 and Linux 2.6 BSP are provided to customers for application development with no extra charge.
It is said to be a flexible, high-performance and inexpensive development kit designed for general embedded applications such as navigation devices, home automation, and data acquisition.
The NXC2620 CPU card, a 32-bit system-on-module (SoM), is based on the IC Nexus NXC2620, a 32-bit RISC processor running at 336MHz coupled with 128MB SDRAM, 1Gbit Nand flash.
Using the small 200-pin Sodimm form factor, it is compact for systems that require small form-factor with native support for 24-bit LCD, USB 1.1 host/slave, RS232, Ethernet, SDHC/MMC, AC97 and more.
Two types of CPU card are available: the PB260A card is with a NXC2620 CPU, while the PB502A card is with a NXC2620 CPU and a GPU for high-resolution video display (up to 1,280 x 1,024).
The NXC2620 CPU card is designed to plug into a carrier board that contains all the connectors and any custom I/O required for general embedded applications.
The customer can design a custom carrier board that meets their I/O, dimensional, and connector requirements or purchase off-the-shelf from IC Nexus.
NXC2620-PB32-BDA is the standard carrier board as a reference environment to realise the I/O interfaces from NXC2620 CPU card.
