Device programmer targets flash-memory market
BPM Microsystems
3000FS device programmer
BPM Microsystems will showcase the 3000FS fine-pitch automated device programmer, designed for flash-memory programming, on Adaptsys' stand at the National Electronics Week show.
The show will take place pn 18-19 May at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.
With production throughput up to 1,100 devices per hour, the 3000FS combines the best qualities of BPM Microsystems' 3000 series device-handling system with its latest Flashstream programmer site technology, to produce the fastest production solution for flash memories.
The 3000FS can produce a fully programmed 512Mb NAND flash every 3.4sec.
On-the-fly vision centring allows the 3000FS to handle almost every semiconductor package on the market, including TSOP, BGAs, while maintaining full handling throughput.
The 3000FS offers flexible options for input and output media, with choices of tube, tray or tape, and is capable of programming 2GB in 21sec.
This is due to the creation of a proprietary co-processor technology developed by BPM - Vector Engine Co-Processor.
This technology gives the Flashstream a low programming overhead while maintaining a high-production-quality programming signal.
BPM Micro offers a full line of device programmers, including Universal Programmers, Concurrent Programming Systems and Fine-Pitch Automated Programming Systems.
