SmartTM1 development tool
Mikroelektronika has launched the SmartTM1, a full-featured development tool for the Teltonika TM1 GSM/GPRS module that allows users to create their own GSM/GPRS-based device.
The tool features voltage regulation, meaning users do not need to add any more power supply electronics.
All that is needed is to connect the microcontroller, the GSM antenna and the power supply (9-32VDC or 7-23AC) to the tool and the user can begin designing their GSM/GPRS-based device.
An on-board DIP switch configures connection lines that are used for connection to the desired microcontroller.
The board can be connected to external electronic or other devices via an IDC10 connector and 2.54mm extension pins.
An antenna holder is also available for placing the antenna.
Teltonika TM1 is a compact, low-power-consumption module that enables GSM/GPRS network communication services for embedded projects.
The module is developed in compliance with internal and normative certification.
It implements a dual-band MS that can be configured to operate in a range of frequency bands, including EGSM 900MHz and DCS 1,800MHz (European bands) or GSM 850MHz and PCS 1,900MHz (US bands).
