Omron Scientific Technologies has introduced updated configuration software for the company’s G9SP programmable safety controllers.
This updated G9SP configuration software provides a standalone safety-control solution in packaging, food and beverage, automotive component, injection moulding and printing applications where customer-driven machine set-up changes demand flexible safety solutions.
The G9SP configuration software is compatible with Microsoft Windows 7 operating systems and a free demo version can be downloaded to enable users to experience first-hand how to design a safety circuit.
These software-based standalone controllers can be quickly programmed to satisfy the safety-control needs of small and mid-sized machines, and are easily reconfigured to solve evolving machine set-up needs, according to the company.
