TC62D723 LED driver
The 16-channel TC62D723 LED driver from Toshiba is designed to reduce component count and minimise software development costs for products employing multiple colour LEDs, such as digital signs and lighting modules.
A highly integrated device, the TC62D723 LED driver is configured so that the brightness of even large displays is consistently maintained within tight tolerances.
A selectable 16-, 14-, 12- and 10-bit PWM grey-scale function, which delivers from 1,024- to 65,536-step grey-scale control per channel, is claimed to further reduce the hardware and software overheads.
Toshiba claims that the TC62D723 can achieve 256-step output brightness, ranging from ca. 8 to 200 per cent, through using just one external resistor.
