Hexfet Power Mosfets
International Rectifier has introduced a range of trench Hexfet Power Mosfets, featuring a high package current rating for industrial batteries, power supply, high-power DC motors and power tools.
The devices provide a package current rating of up to 195A, delivering a 60 per cent improvement over typical package current ratings.
They also provide improved on-state resistance (RDS(on)) compared with previous offerings, and are available in the TO-220, D2Pak and TO-262 packages.
The 7-pin D2Pak achieves a high package current rating of 240A, and further reduction in RDS(on) over the D2Pak.
The higher current rating from these packages can provide more guard band from unwanted transients, and help reduce part count in parallel-type topologies where several Mosfets share high current.
These N-channel Mosfets provide a voltage range of 60 to 200V and are qualified to industrial grade and moisture sensitivity level 1 (MSL1).
The devices are offered lead-free and are RoHS-compliant.
