International Rectifier's HiRel business unit has launched testing services to customers seeking critical electrical, reliability and qualification testing.
IR's suite of testing services addresses the growing need for electrical and environmental testing of hermetic and non-hermetic (plastic) components in the high-reliability market.
The breadth of IR's standard offerings includes a wide combination of electrical testing, die services, quality compliance, device evaluation, environmental testing, and packaging services for Mosfets, diodes, IGBTs, bipolar transistors and power ICs housed in a broad range of industry-standard packages.
Radiation testing is a non-standard offering.
Custom requests are also reviewed for consideration.
Services are performed in IR's 68,000ft2 JANS, Class K, ISO4001, ISO9001 and AS9100-certified facility in Leominster, Massachusetts, US.
The facility designs and manufactures IR's discrete components, power modules and motor controllers for high-reliability applications.
