Drivers designed for high-powered LEDs
CUI
VLED15 series
CUI's power line has released the VLED15 series of AC/DC LED drivers, which offer flicker-free operation when used with standard triac-based incandescent dimmers.
They are suitable for retrofitting into existing applications or for integration into new systems that will use standard triac or electronic low-voltage dimming devices.
The VLED15 series can be ordered in either 115 or 230VAC inputs and come in 11 different output current configurations, ranging from 350mA to 1.5A.
All units include active power correction and will operate up to a case temperature of 90C without derating.
Protections for over voltage, over current, over temperature and short circuit are also included.
The VLED15 series is available through Digi-Key, starting at USD30.01 (GBP18.26).
