Amplifier for reliable operation from -55 to 225C

Cissoid

CHT-Ruby

Cissoid has introduced Ruby, a triple operational amplifier with a built-in voltage reference for reliable operation from -55 to 225C.

The three operational amplifiers can easily be configured as an instrumentation amplifier with external resistors, while the 5V voltage reference can provide up to 25mA for complete bridge excitation in high-temperature sensor applications.

CHT-Ruby is available in a small footprint, surface-mount hermetically sealed ceramic SOIC16 package, providing designers with a fully flexible and compact solution for their sensor interface modules.

The operational amplifiers can operate with a supply voltage range from 6 to 20V and with a low-current consumption of 600uA per amplifier at 225C.

They provide a stable gain-bandwidth product (GBW) over the whole temperature range, which translate into a more stable bandwidth and linearity with temperature, facilitating Op-amp based designs for wide-temperature-range applications.

The 5V voltage reference provides initial accuracy of +/-2 per cent and high stability with temperature (less than 500uV/C).

CHT-Ruby belongs to Cissoid's Gemstone range of high-temperature operational amplifiers and sensor interface products.
