Almag offers 90A differential suppression chokes suitable for use in motor drives
Almag Division, Carnhill Transformers
Type WD Differential EMC Choke range
Almag has extended its Type WD Differential EMC Choke range with types rated up to 90A, which are suitable for applications including motor drives, inverters, lighting dimmers and ballasts, SMPSU suppression and general differential EMC filtering.
With 116 inductor designs in 17 package sizes, the inductors offer current ratings from 0.5A up to 90A in 30 steps, with inductances ranging from 0.13mH up to 6.7mH.
Using toroidal powder cores, these inductors are designed to offer low flux leakage and soft saturation to cope with short-term overloads of 200 per cent or more.
