Aaeon controllers adopt Mini-ITX form factor
Aaeon
AIS-Q450/2 controllers
Aaeon has launched its Advanced System Controller product line, adopting the Mini-ITX form factor with the Intel Q45 and ICH10DO chipset.
The AIS-Q450 and AIS-Q452 feature the Intel Core 2 Duo/Quad LGA 775 processor and support dual channel with two 240-pin DDRIII 800/1066 SDRAM (up to 4GB).
For the network connection, these two models are equipped with the Intel 82567LM and Intel 82574L that feature two PCI-Express 10/100/100Base-TX Ethernet communications.
The 3.5in SATA Hard Disk Drive bay and optional Compactflash Type II socket provide ample storage expansion.
'The AIS-Q450 and AIS-Q452 are designed to target vertical applications, such as digital signage, optical inspection and automation control,' said Taylor Wang, product manager of industrial system division of Aaeon.
'The high performance and stable quality make the AIS-Q450 and AIS-Q452 easy to install in multiple environments.
'The integrated Intel graphics engine 4500, which supports dual view with VGA and DVI functions, allows for an excellent display and great audio features,' he added.
The AIS-Q450 and AIS-Q452 accommodate two COM ports and six USB 2.0 ports to offer flexible expansion abilities.
The difference between the AIS-Q450 and AIS-Q452 are the expansion buses.
The AIS-Q452 equips optional optical ROM: slim-type combo/DVD-RW, one PCI-Express[x16] and one PCI expansion.
