Mimix launches GaAs MMIC power amplifier

XP5002-BD power amplifier
Mimix Asia has introduced a 2.7GHz to 3.8GHz GaAs monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) power amplifier that has a 32dB large signal gain and a 41.5dBm saturated output power.
Known as XP5002-BD, this device includes on-chip gate bias circuitry and delivers 40 per cent power-added efficiency.
The XP5002-BD is suitable for radar, satellite and commercial applications.
