Op amp targets instrumentation and medical use

ADA4528 zero-drift op amp
Analog Devices has introduced what it claims is the industry's lowest-noise, zero-drift operational amplifier.
The ADA4528 zero-drift op amp is designed for instrumentation and medical applications that require precision over time and temperature without system calibration.
The design achieves an ultra-low integrated voltage noise of 99nVp-p over 0.1-10Hz, meaning that the ADA4528 delivers a 26 per cent lower voltage noise at 40 per cent less power consumption than the closest competing amplifiers - the company claims.
This improves system SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) and lowers the noise floor, enabling 24-bit resolution over 150kHz in A/D converters while improving system accuracy.
The 5.3-nV/rtHz voltage noise density allows designers for the first time to use the zero-drift amplifier in broadband applications, such as piezoelectric transducers and precision data-acquisition systems.
The ADA4528 zero-drift amplifier offers low offset voltage of 2.5uV max and what Analog claims is the industry's lowest guaranteed offset-voltage drift of 0.015uV/C max.
It has a 140dB gain, a CMRR (common-mode rejection ratio) of 135 and a 130dB PSRR (power-supply rejection ratio), making it suited for precision amplification of low-level signals in applications such as position and pressure sensors, strain gages and medical instrumentation.
The ADA4528 is fully specified to operate from a 2.2 to 5.5V single-voltage supply over the extended industrial temperature range (-40 to 125C) and is available in an eight-lead MSOP (Mini Small Outline Package).
