Integrated Device Technology’s IDT 9TCS108x mixed-signal semiconductors are capable of system timing, temperature sensing and fan control and are suitable for use in PC mobile platforms, digital video recorders, set-top boxes, network attached storage and Ethernet switches and routers.
The units feature an integrated two-channel thermal sensor, a system timer and a four-wire pulse-width-modulation fan controller.
The sensor has a ±1°C accuracy for detecting overheating and a separate temperature alert can be programmed for each channel.
In addition, the series is offered with a number of output and frequency options, including 24MHz, 25MHz, 27MHz, 48MHz and 32.768kHz.
