CS5374 allows for smaller marine streamers
Cirrus Logic
energy exploration IC
Cirrus Logic has brought out the CS5374 energy exploration IC, which integrates two programmable-gain differential amplifiers and two low-noise Delta-Sigma modulators in a 48-pin QFN package.
These features enable smaller and more reliable marine streamers.
The CS5374, part of the fourth generation of ICs for energy-exploration systems, provides excellent noise and distortion performance of 127dB signal-to-noise rate and 118dB THD (total harmonic distortion).
These give it the high-precision performance needed for marine streamers used to detect potential sources for energy deep within the ocean floor.
The CS5374's compact size reduces the overall size of the streamer design.
The CS5374 is in volume production and available in a 48-pin QFN package.
