Austriamicrosystems device enables secure NFC services to be introduced to consumers
Austriamicrosystems has introduced the first demonstration that enables NFC (near field communication) data transfer on removable secure elements using a micro-antenna design.
Developed in co-operation with Infineon Technologies, the AS3922 is designed to speed up the deployment and the acceptance of standalone NFC systems based on ultra-small form factors such as microSD.
Combining an Infineon security contactless microcontroller with Austriamicrosystems’ AS3922 RFID front-end chip, this active NFC system focuses on enabling the introduction of secure NFC services to the consumer.
Infineon’s secure microcontrollers are certified according to the Common Criteria and EMVCo international standards and answers to the requirements of NFC Mobile Payment.
The AS5013 contactless magnetic encoder IC monitors the displacement of a magnet incorporated in a knob relative to its centre position and provides X and Y position information via an IC interface.
Austriamicrosystems has launched the AS3696, a four-channel LED driver IC that is designed for edge lighting in LCD televisions.
Austriamicrosystems has introduced the AS5510 linear Hall sensor IC for applications such as closed-loop position control systems with space constraints such as zoom or autofocus camera systems.
Austriamicrosystems has launched the AS3560 and AS3561 stereo headphone amplifiers for mobile phones, portable navigation devices, music/media players and any media device that uses headphones.
Austriamicrosystems has launched two in-vehicle-network ICs, the AS8520 and AS8530.
