Design Environmental

The company was formed in 1985 and has become a UK market leader within a major industrial corporation, the German based Schunk Group. The company also exports to many countries in the far East, Asia and Europe. Design Environmental was founded with the prime objective of designing, manufacturing a range of standard and customised environmental test chambers and rooms, which provide accurately controlled temperature and humidity test conditions. The majority of products are supplied to Aerospace, Automotive and Electronics companies and in more recent years, as the company's reputation has spread, the customer base has expanded into many more sectors including pharmaceuticals, food and education. Products range from bench top temperature/humidity controlled test chambers through to large walk in or drive in rooms able to test vehicles, or large assemblies. Other products include the Xess range of rapid temperature cycling chambers and the Sigma range which combines rapid cycling temperature with multi axis, simultaneous, random vibration. Both are used for HALT/HASS product development and production stress screening. The company specialises in customised temperature test solutions and offers a full turnkey package where required. We also have a team of highly experienced service engineers offering preventative maintenance, breakdown facilities and calibration on our own and any make of environmental test chamber.
