The CC-Link Partner Association (CLPA) is an organisation of manufacturers of CC-Link compatible products and users of CC-Link technology. The CLPA oversees and manages the CC-Link specifications, provides technical support and conformance testing and promotes the worldwide adoption of CC-Link technology for network communications in industrial automation. The CLPA was formed in Europe in November 2000. Global adoption of CC-Link is demonstrated by the following:
- Over 7 million CC-Link nodes have been installed
- There are more that 1,300 member of the CC-Link Partner Association
- There are over 1,000 certified CC-Link products available from hundreds of manufacturers
CC-Link is now the leading open field network in Japan and Asia with strong increases of market share in the USA and Europe. To provide member and technical support, the CLPA currently has offices in Japan, USA, UK, Germany, Korea, China, Taiwan and Singapore to cover the surrounding markets. In addition, there are promotion partner sub-offices in Ukraine, Poland, Turkey and the Netherlands. Conformance test facilities are located in Japan, USA, Germany, China and Korea.
