Measuring only 35.5 x 25 x 3.7mm, the Intel Edison includes 1GByte of RAM and 4Gbytes of Flash and supports dual-band 801.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi as well as Bluetooth 4.0 and 2.1 EDR.

An automated injection moulding cell has been designed and built by Kettering integrator Hi-Tech Automation to produce electrofusion couplers for joining plastic utility pipes at a lower cost than previously. A majority of the key elements that have gone into the dual production line cell, including robots, controls, drives and injection moulding machines, were supplied by FANUC from its new Coventry headquarters.
