ITT Electronic Components has announced the Cannon Express PC card, which has 26 pin-edge card connectors and stainless steel cover sets.
The PC card connectors and cover sets meet the PCMCIA industry’s demands for 34mm and 54mm wide modules.
The company claims the stainless steel sets are quick and easy to assemble, and can either be snapped together or ultrasonically welded.
The connectors have applications in the IT industry including notebook computers, smart card readers, TV tuners and memory media adapters.

- Allows up to 10,000 cover set mating cycles
- Specialist variations are available, such as extended rear modules and multiple connector offsets
- Module formats measure 55 x75mm long; the connectors and cover sets enable both compact ExpressCard/34 and /54 cards to fit in the same aperture
