Type WH Hi-Performance compact toroidal storage and differential suppression chokes
Almag’s newest forms of Type WH Hi-Performance compact toroidal storage and differential suppression chokes go up to a 60A rating and can be used for a range of applications, including active PFC correction, power supply output chokes, lighting, motor drives, ballasts and general EMC filtering.
According to the company they have twice the inductance of conventional chokes, which can allow users to increase power supply efficiency by using a smaller, lower resistance choke.
Some types also give the option of vertical mounting on standard pinned bases so that board area can be minimised.
