HNCs
A-1 Technical Training provides HNCs in engineering by Open/distance learning for those who are unable to attend college on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Applicants are assessed individually for Open/distance learning and A-1 Techncial Training offers full back-up support.
Logis-Tech Associates, a sub-division of A-1 Technical Training, offers the following six Higher National Certificate courses by Open/distance learning: HNC in Electrical Engineering; HNC in Electronics Engineering; HNC in Mechanical Engineering; HNC in Manufacturing Engineering; HNC in Engineering Systems; and HNC in Measurement and Control.
Each programme consists of nine mandatory units, two optional units and one graded unit (12 credits).
All engineering programmes are accredited by SQA and are recognised worldwide.
