Linkswitch-PH downlight driver
Power Integrations 15W PAR38 LED downlight driver for high-voltage integrated circuits, the Linkswitch-PH, allows flicker-free dimming and is 85 per cent efficient.
The downlight driver uses active damping with bleeding circuitry, which, according to the company, is more efficient and ensures longer life than using an electrolytic bulk capacitor.
The Linkswitch-PH also meets all PFC and harmonic content rules.
Finally, it is compatible with existing home dimmers.
This document from Power Integrations is an engineering report describing a non-isolated LED driver (power supply) utilising a LNK458KG from the Linkswitch-PL family of devices.
This design idea presents the Linkswitch TN as used in a high-efficiency constant current buck converter for LED lighting to deliver a constant current of 130mA at a voltage of 70VDC.
This report from Power Integrations describes a non-isolated, high-power-factor, TRIAC-dimmable LED driver that utilises the LNK407EG from the Linkswitch-PH range of ICs.
This design example report is an engineering report describing a non-isolated LED driver (power supply) utilising a LNK457DG from the Linkswitch-PL series of devices.
This report describes a non-isolated, high-efficiency, high power factor (PF) LED driver designed to drive a nominal LED string voltage of 78V at 230mA.
