15W LED downlight driver uses active damping for flicker-free dimming
Power Integrations
Linkswitch-PH downlight driver
Power Integrations 15W PAR38 LED downlight driver for high-voltage integrated circuits, the Linkswitch-PH, allows flicker-free dimming and is 85 per cent efficient.
The downlight driver uses active damping with bleeding circuitry, which, according to the company, is more efficient and ensures longer life than using an electrolytic bulk capacitor.
The Linkswitch-PH also meets all PFC and harmonic content rules.
Finally, it is compatible with existing home dimmers.
