Linkswitch-PH downlight driver
Power Integrations 15W PAR38 LED downlight driver for high-voltage integrated circuits, the Linkswitch-PH, allows flicker-free dimming and is 85 per cent efficient.
The downlight driver uses active damping with bleeding circuitry, which, according to the company, is more efficient and ensures longer life than using an electrolytic bulk capacitor.
The Linkswitch-PH also meets all PFC and harmonic content rules.
Finally, it is compatible with existing home dimmers.
Power Integrations has announced the arrival of the RDK-420, a reference design kit for a 10W CV/CC USB charger based on the company’s InnoSwitch-CH family of highly integrated switcher ICs. InnoSwitch ICs combine the primary-side switch together with primary and secondary controllers and feedback circuits into a single, worldwide safety-rated, surface-mount package.
Power Integrations has launched its latest SCALE-2+ dual-IGBT driver core, the 2SC0435T2G1-17, which is described as the most compact product in its power range with a footprint of only 57.2 x 51.6mm and a height of just 20mm.
Power Integrations has released a new series of Qspeed 150V diodes. Qspeed LQA150 series silicon diodes are claimed to be very fast and feature excellent softness for low EMI.
Power Integrations has announced that PI Expert Suite — its flexible power supply unit (PSU) design tool — is now accessible as a cloud-based app.
Power Integrations has introduced the InnoSwitch series of integrated switcher ICs. The series combines primary, secondary and feedback circuits into a single, worldwide safety-rated, surface-mount package. The InnoSwitch series is suitable for smart mobile device chargers and adapters for a range of applications such as set-top boxes, networking equipment and computer peripherals.
